Spinach, lettuce, arugula and other salad greens remain in good supply, and thanks to the cooler than average summer so far the quality of all salad greens continues to be exceptional. The first Washington cherries were brought to the market Wednesday and will be available through the Washington harvest season. There are limited quantities of strawberries, and some great local asparagus, and other salad greens.  On the plant side all herb, vegetable and flower plants and baskets are still available. This is also a good time to be putting in vines including grape vines, trees and shrubs.  Updated Thursday, June 23, 2011.
